Synopsis: 

 

Set in a regional newspaper office somewhere near Oldham, editor George Maskell is snowed under with marital problems, an unhappy Scandinavian boss and a frustratingly absent mobile phone.  Reporter Mike Jolly has problems of his own following the restructure, but could a chance encounter at the cinema win him the story of the decade?

 

BHTC NOTES: This was a green room experience for first time director Jinanne Karkar. The first half of the evening involved Peter Forester introducing a number of monologues from a small number of club members (with slight changes between the Friday & Saturday format marked in yellow on the programme below).
