SYNOPSIS: 

A strike is imminent at the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory.

The union is seeking a wage raise and Sid and Babe are in opposite camps. Sid threatens to fire slackers during a slow-down arranged by the union which is strongly supported by Babe and she is so enraged by his attitude, she kicks her foot into the machinery causing a general breakdown and is immediately fired by Sid. 

Slowly however, Sid becomes convinced that Babe's

championship of the union is justified, and simulating

an interest in Gladys, the company president's

secretary, he eventually discovers that the boss

Hasler has already given the raise, but is keeping

all of the money for himself.
