GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS
Synopsis:
GGGR revolves around 4 real estate salesmen who have a week to prove they have what it takes to remain working for the company. First prize is a Cadillac. Second prize a set of steak knives and third and fourth get fired.
As the play unfolds we see the different tactics used by our four anti-heroes as they struggle against the irreversible tide that is American capitalism, without realising that they are major contributors to that that they rail against so vehemently.
On the one hand the play is a reflection of the
dark forces controlling corporate American
and at the same time a deeply black comedy
that will have you laughing out loud.
