PUSS IN BOOTS
Synopsis:
Puss In Boots tells the story of the very clever cat who assists his master Jack through adventure and adversity to defeat the evil Witches, the Warlock and the Wizard, winning the hand of the beautiful Princess Valentina.
BHTC NOTES: Maybe one of the most accident prone Pantomimes ever performed as David Abbott (Queen Anastasia) tore a calf muscle on the first Saturday of the run, Stage Manager Laurie Moody fell off the stage between shows and numerous bumps and knocks were experienced by many of the cast and chorus.The fire alarm was also activated in the middle of one performance due to smoke from the flashes!
Sadly Rita Hollebon, Pantomime pianist with the club
for over 20 years also announced her retirement.
