Synopsis:
The classic tale of the princess who pricks her finger on a spindle and she and the castle inhabitants fall asleep for a hundred years. Many years later, a prince arrives and hearing the story of the enchantment, braves the wood which has grown over the castle. He kisses the princess and everyone wakes to continue where they left off and the prince and princess marry and live happily ever after.
BHTC NOTES: To help advertise the show, a four poster bed on wheels was built and used as part of the bonfire procession and the 'walk
about' (Pictured Below). Another seperate event
of a treasure hunt to find Sleeping Beauty,
was also successfully held at a later date
in the Martlets Shopping Centre.
